Innovator Founder Visa — Launch Your Business in the UK

The Innovator Founder visa is designed for experienced entrepreneurs who want to establish an innovative business in the UK. With a route to settlement in just 3 years, it’s one of the fastest paths to permanent residency for business founders.

This visa is for entrepreneurs with a genuine, innovative business idea that is different from anything already on the market. You don’t need a job offer — instead, you need an endorsement from an approved body that believes your idea has potential.

Your business idea must be endorsed by one of the Home Office-approved endorsing bodies. These organisations assess whether your idea is innovative, viable, and scalable:

Each endorsing body has its own application process and focus areas. We help you identify the right body for your business and prepare a compelling application.

Your business idea must meet three criteria:

Your idea must be genuinely new or significantly different from what’s already available in the UK market

You must demonstrate a realistic, credible business plan with clear revenue potential and market demand

Your business must have the potential to grow, create jobs, and make a significant impact in the UK

You must prove English at B2 level (IELTS 5.5 in each component). Nationals of majority English-speaking countries are exempt.

At least £1,270 held in your bank for 28 consecutive days. No minimum business investment is required by immigration rules.

The Innovator Founder visa offers one of the fastest routes to Indefinite Leave to Remain:
